The Egyptian Sherman FL10

One of the more peculiar experiments of the 1956 Suez Crisis was the Egyptian Shermans with AMX-13 style FL10 turrets. This tank was mounting the 61.5 caliber 75mm gun, modeled after the gun on the German Panther. In game terms, the oscillating turret of the AMX was judged a liability: cramped, lacking ammunition, and reloading the autoloader had to take place outside the tank.

Long term, I’m hoping to use Steven Balagan’s orders of battle to create whole PDFs of the 1956 Suez campaign. That’s a ways off, currently.
